What Happens in Vegas is a comedy waiting to happen. It takes an old premise (drunk strangers regretting their decision to get married in Las Vegas) and adds in a dilemma (a $3 million slot machine win) that could've been easily resolved. But then again, there would've been no movie if the unhappily wedded couple figured out that splitting the money in half and getting their marriage annulled would've been quick and effective. Cameron Diaz plays uptight clean-freak Joy, who has just been dumped by her fiance. Ashton Kutcher is Jack, a slacker furniture maker who has been fired--by his own dad. Each goes to Vegas to let off some steam. And while they have nothing in common (except being exceptionally good looking) they make out, get married, and fight over the money Jack wins with Joy's quarter. Instead of letting the couple get divorced, a judge sentences the odd couple to half a year of marriage. What happens in Vegas doesn't stay in Vegas, but extends into New York where Jack and Joy live. Both actors have fared well in comedies, especially Diaz in My Best Friend's Wedding. And while Kutcher still has to live down Dude, Where's My Car?, he showed a lot of comedic flair and charm in A Lot Like Love. But the two face an uphill battle here with inane dialogue and a premise that not only is unbelievable, but unlikeable.  if u must then RENT IT December 3, 2008
If you really intend on watching this movie then go ahead and rent it. Its good for a few laughs induced by some silly comedy but that's just about it. If you have seen one Ashton Kutcher comedy then you have seen them all, his abilities in comedic acting are pretty much one dimensional and try as he might he just could not keep up with Cameron Diaz's comedic skills for sure.

A surprisingly decent movie of this type mainly due to Aston Kutcher and Cameron Diaz .If you like this kind of movie, its OK for a couple of hours.

I loved the movie. It kept my attention and was so so funny. Ashton & Cameron make a wonderful couple in this romantic comedy. Iwould recommend this to any and everyone!! A MUST SEE!!!
Predictable November 29, 2008
This movie has really nothing to do with Vegas, but rather what happened in Vegas and how to correct the mess, while back home in NYC.
Good cast, didn't care for the dumb lawyer bud and angry gurlfriend.
Overall, a good chic flix.

This movie is funny and laugh. Also the story line is good. I like that.
This movie is making well, I guess. I enjoyed the movie. In Addition this movie location is my favorite city. This movie was hit. I mean not failed.
