Editorial Reviews:

Description
Joe Estevez, Robert Z'Dar, and Linnea Quigley star in the film "Rockville Slayer." In a send-up to horror films of past generations and packed with a well-known cult/horror film cast, this movie tells the story of the murder of two high school couples in a small town. Their deaths are just the beginning in a series of creepy, seemingly random, killings. The two detectives assigned to the case discover shocking truths about themselves as they uncover horrific facts about past murders they hope will lead them to the true killer.

2 out of 5 stars Nice film location, but thats about it   August 13, 2007
Could have been a cool "B" slasher film but the story and continunity is all over the place.

1 out of 5 stars Oh come on...   August 24, 2006

I watched this and felt ripped off. The audio was terrible. The direction incoherent. The writing... would have been better if someone swallowed a piece of paper and pooped out a script. This is an awful, amateur movie. Just because there is no budget DOES NOT give it the excuse to suck this badly.

3 out of 5 stars Not bad   May 18, 2006

I thought this movie was alright. I felt that the story moved along well and I thought the ending tied in well together...I actually rented this from Blockbuster so I didn't notice the audio problems that some have mentioned. I felt that it was a pretty good flick. Some acting was a little amature, but it all moved well. Not bad for an indie movie.

3 out of 5 stars Pleasant watch   May 16, 2006

In watching this film, I didn't know what to expect, but it wasn't what half of these people reviewing it have said. I liked the film. I agree with the fact the the audio towards the end of the film was a little off, but overal for being an independent film, it was watchable. I understood the plot of the movie. The town deputy is trying to find what his past is like and finds a whole lot more than he expected. Watch to find out for yourselves. Give this one a chance, it was a pleasant watch.

1 out of 5 stars The form didn't provide an option for less than one star......   May 16, 2006

Let me see.... Bad Script, Bad acting, bad directing, poor editing, Soundtrack like a bad Japanese Western. So what's to like?? This DVD was an effort to recoup a bad investment..... save your $20 for a REAL Charity !!!
