4 out of 5 stars Pentagon Wars   January 8, 2009
This is a very funny film which shows the mockery of how certain personnel in government departments throw taxpayers money away on frivolous projects just so that they can outwardly justify their jobs and future prospects. Kelsey Grammer, a highly ranked officer in the armed forces working at the Pentagon, does a excellent job in keeping a very though provoking and eye opening subject at a sidesplittingly humorous level.

4 out of 5 stars A funny, sad and true tale of the military procurement system   October 18, 2008
Years ago while attending a Defense Management College course, the Bradley M1 vehicle was one of the case studies used to illustrate the pitfalls of bad program management. This movie depicts that case study in a very funny, but truthfully sad way. I highly recommend it for anyone that has experience with military procurement... either from the government side or the contractor side.

5 out of 5 stars The Truth on DoD purchases   October 15, 2008
The movie is the story of the development of the Bradley Fighting Vehicle and why things never seem to work the way they were intended. It is one of the best movies I have ever seen showing how NOT to do project management.

5 out of 5 stars Pentagon Wars   September 6, 2008
It is so funny its hard to believe that it could be true. Kelsey Grammer is the spitting image of so many of todays upper management. As the old saying goes," s--- rises". The bad part is that so many beleive they are really doing something good. For any past military veteran this movie will bring back nightmares and funy moments in your careers. The scene about the test using the armory door was so true. So what about the results of the test, who is going to buy the new door? A perfect example of S.N.A.F.U.

5 out of 5 stars Sad but True   August 19, 2008
This movie makes fun of how the US Military acquires weapons systems and takes a serious and boring subject and makes us laugh. Sadly, the message is true that the goverment wastes taxpayer money and compromise our technology edge by bogging down the process and spend too much time worrying about the politics of building something rather than the actual building of it. As a bonus, we get to see Charlie Murphy, so you can't go wrong.
