Awesomely Gruesome February 18, 2007 Christopher Walken is an excellent man of importance. these kids in the movie, superb job in creating the roles of first time kidnappers!
Suicide Kings January 4, 2007 Another interesting Christopher Walken film...with the added enticement of Dennis Leary as a scary guy who doesn't like men who beat women. This film is richly written with well developed characters who surprise you. Walken is great as a kidnapped mob guy, who ultimmately reassures us that you're crazy to target a guy who really knows how to hurt people. After all, that's his business. Throughly engrossing.
Awesome November 10, 2006 If you are a Christopher Walken fan, you are going to love this movie. It's low-key but never dull. It's got you right from the beginning with some good twists to it.
Nothing mind blowing, but it's still easily entertaining, thanks in large part to Walken's presence October 26, 2006 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
In order to save his sister from some kidnappers, Avery (Thomas) and a group of his friends decide to kidnap former mob boss Carlo Bartolucci (Walken) and hold him hostage for the money to save his sister. Sounds simple enough, but there is a big twist...don't try and guess it, even I didn't see it coming. All in all `Suicide Kings' is a decent film, nothing spectacular, and while it tries to treed Tarantino waters it begins to sink after we reach the meat of the film. Really, the main reason to watch this film is for Christopher Walken who is probably one of Hollywood's most dependable supporting actors around (I mean come on, it's almost as if he appears, even if only for a moment, in like every movie made nowadays). Denis Leary also does a good job with his stock role, but it's Walken who makes the movie memorable. Give it a watch through, but if you've never seen it and are just curious, I'd recommend renting it first for because it's nothing spectacular it may not be the type of movie you'd watch over and over again.
This is Christopher Walken December 28, 2005 Suicide Kings is a movie based on a dark and twisted tail of revenge and betrayal. Amateur rich kids succeed in kidnapping a former mob boss (Christopher Walken) forcing him to help them find a kidnapped sister of one of the group. the mob king is able to get key information from the kids and manages to talk them into freeing him where he ends cleaning all the associates of the plot. Great entertaining Movie, Christopher Walken Style. The DVD is good in sound and picture. Enjoy
